Q- Hello ! Can you tell us a few words about the history of "As We Keep Searching" ?
-> We're bunch of old friends, Used to play in different bands, Came together for this project with a fresh mind and a lot of different influences. Uddipan and Shubham had this project idea since long and they called me (Ashwin) to play live drums for the tracks, and the band decided to take this forward with our session Bassist Marc Damania.
Q- How does it feel to be a member of "As We Keep Searching"?
-> It feels great actually, all the members in the band support each other, Love each other, We're a family.
Q- How would you define your music in one line?
-> Post rock and experimental music with a touch of hindi and traditional vocal lines. Made for each and every soul in this beautiful world.
Q- How long have you all been making music?
-> Individually we have been making music since years, but came together for this project some months back.
Q- Any plans for an upcoming album?
-> EP coming out sometime in March.
Q- Which musicians inspire you all?
Each and every musician who plays with their heart and soul, we get inspired.
Some artists which we like are God Is An Astronaut, Explosions In The Sky, Karnivool, Mutemath, White Moth Black Butterfly, This Will Destroy You, Sigur Ros, Olafur and Tool
Q- How often and for how long do you practice?
-> Individually some hours in a day, Everyday.
And the band practices thrice a week.
Q- Lastly, what are the future plans for the band?
-> Firstly, keep making new music, Play gigs which really want us there and keep recording.
