Interview with Trinergic

A snapshot from their Rise OF Xyrith's Music Video

Mumbai Based Melodic Metal band has an album releasing this summer which they say comprises of 8 originals and 2 instrumentals, a total of 10 track. Guitarist Nikant Sharma stated when asked about their new album "The new album is such, our listeners can head bang to and enjoy some melodies like never before."

Rawrr Mag- Hi Trinergic, thanks for taking this time to chat with Rawrrmag.in ! Well in Bombay, it’s almost unthinkable, but somewhere I suppose, some metalheads may not know Trinergic yet. Can you introduce your band to our readers?

Trinergic- Hello! Yes its true, people are not very much aware of Trinergic cause we haven’t played some major gigs yet... but people do know the members somehow, maybe the ex-band aspects or even YouTube videos...
For those who don’t know us, we are Trinergic, a melodic death metal band from Mumbai, India. Our music mainly portrays a lot of melodic section combined slamming breakdowns and solos!

Rawrr Mag- Trinergic has a new album coming out. Please enlighten our readers with an overall concept to the album? Could you explain the sound of the new album in your own words?

Trinergic- The new Trinergic album comprises of 8 originals and 2 instrumentals, a total of 10 audios our listeners can head bang to and enjoy some melodies like never before... title, artwork, etc are on their way (had too many amazing titles, difficult to choose one hahaha)
The concept of the album lies in the lyrical content of the songs. Hence, let’s keep people on a li’l curious side... hahaha... our listeners would find that our real soon though... cheers!
We really pay emphasis on the band’s sound, if you listen to Rise of Xyrith and compare them with some of the new songs on the album... we have tried maintaining the idea that it should be melodic yet heavy, it should cater to the brutal crowd as well as the nu age, a li’l laid back crowd...

Rawrr Mag- Your Debut Music video “Rise Of Xyrith” has hit a massive 25000+ views on YouTube sometime this month. So what do you have to say on this successful milestone as a band? Did you ever imagine this to happen?

Trinergic- Frankly, we never expected the video to reach 25000+ but when we saw some major increase in hits and views; it gave us a positive feeling... the video indeed is a really important milestone. We even have messages from Germany and Brazil in our inbox, very surprised yet happy we are with such a great response..

Rawrr Mag -You released your video for “Rise Of Xyrith' recently, what was your inspiration for that song?

Trinergic- Xyrith is something created by Trinergic. The whole idea of the title “Rise of Xyrith” is RISE UP EACH TIME YOU FALL... xyrith represents anyone and everyone... hence, the song starts as, LEAVE THE PAST WHERE IT BELONGS... you gotta rise up for yourself, taking a stand is something that motivated us to write something of that sort.

Rawrr Mag- If you guys could tour with any band, anywhere in the world, who and where would it be?

Trinergic- Well, difficult thing to say since we have lot of personal choices but Born of Osiris, Crossfaith, Children of Bodom and Trinerigc hahaha...It would be like a dream come true, Wacken Open Air it is! hahahaha

Rawrr Mag- Describe the band's first show if you can remember.

Trinergic- Our 1st show was at IISER (Pune) the 1st time the band went live with this line up, a li’l nervous yet excited... the crowd loved it and then we were happy coz we realised that this band will go and has to go places, which we have been working on since forever. Hopefully, we’ll reach our goal someday soon.

Rawrr Mag- Can you tell us something on your Gears?

Trinergic- Well, myself and Sharang Gaikwad(guitarist) we both have a very similar style of playing and hence have a very similar set of gears too...
We both use podhd500... sharing use to use his Ibanez rg series and i would use my Schecter Damien-7. However, we both are now using Schecter Damien-7 with emg81 and 707 pickups (yes, the Jeff Loomis ones!!!)
Kishan Mulani uses a Sansamp bass pedal and an ltd b-15 bass guitar... he is planning on buying a new bass though maybe the warwick J
Rahul uses his god gifted, 100% natural vocal processor (HIS BLOODY THROAT) HAHAHA

Rawrr Mag- Overall, what has been the best moment of Trinergic as a band?

Trinergic- Every positive moment has been the best for the band... the music video, the review after the gigs. If we had to pick one, we would say... the music video shoot process was the best moment for us... a lot of bonding, fun times, arguments, yet dedication and the trust of being together developed from there itself...

Rawrr Mag- Which Show/gig/concert/ contest have been your best, most fun, craziest and a thing to remember? And why?

Trinergic- The SIES powerchords’13 where we played alongside our brothers from the Hoffmen Code, Afterlife, Orcus and the mighty devoid was one of our most amazing gigs, Rahul did a stage dive there and it was hilarious yet amazing!

Rawrr Mag- Thank you so much for giving this time to Rawrr Magazine. Anything you want to add?
Trinergic-We have released our single “Martyr” yesterday...We would appreciate if our listeners check that out...
