Today, there are over thousand of covers of popular pop/rap songs covered in their own styles by many amazing unsigned bands out there in YouTube. And this has become a trend for bands who are trying to get there into the mainstream music industry. I still remember how American Metalcore band WOE IS ME boosts their fan base when they initially covered Kesha’s hit ‘TIK TOK” in 2011. And honestly that’s how I fall in love with the band. There are a lot of unsigned local bands that cover today's pop songs really well, so as for the craze goes, if it sounds good, why not listen to it?

This is the 20 best ever Screamo rap/pop song covers of all time in my own personal opinion. The list in this video covers the time frame from 2012 to 2013.There are many other Screamo versions of the same song out there but this are the favourite ones. The list is not in order!

One of my first Screamo covers I came across back in high-school in 2008. When I first heard the song  I almost learned every single line by heart. This song is just EPIC in this way!!

This is most probably the second cover to the Owl City's no. hit "Fireflies". The first cover/remake was by a band called Beautiful Dying Day. But Sienna Skies version stood out for me between the two.

This is one of my favourite Screamo cover/remake done by California based band It Starts With Alaska. I'm pretty sure the original of this song sounds as good as this cover but I'd rather listen to this cover by ISWA. It's one of the best work done by the band!

This is personally my favourite Screamo covers of all time and this was the first Screamo cover which came to my music player. This song made me to start listening and loving to Screamo Cover songs. I have been listening to this cover for a long time now and it never gets old.

This song introduced me to I Set Myself On Fire and honestly I could understand the song more than the original. Hoping that they come back with some new stuff soon!! A song you can't miss on the list!

There are people who may buzz around saying that the vocals may be weak compared to the instruments; lyrics may be as shitty as fuck, not enough metal elements to be Metalcore, Auto tuned, and whatever the fuck is! But I swear this is actually way better than the original, Sometimes nothing satisfies like this covers. If there is someone out there who hates Screamo versions...this is for you.. "well, everyone has different taste in things. That's what makes each person so unique."

And yeah there are millions of people out there who says Screamo ain't a genre and I honestly don't know what Screamo actually means. However that is how the mainstream of this goes, and these remakes are known as Screamo covers as far as YouTube is concerned. So if anyone disagree with this I stand myself corrected and  change the title of this article to "Best Remakes of Pop/Rap songs".
