Review: SNRMB - Raktapyas Online Compilation

Raktapyas Online Compilation is a grandeur effort by Support Nepalese Rock And Metal Band community, the effort encloses 40 different bands from native Nepal and some other foreign countries counting Bangladesh. Having been in an online compilation set, the collective covers different genres, ranging from the harsh death metal massacre of UgraKarma to symphonic aggression of Kalodin to black metal desecration of Jahiliyyah to raw thrash maniacal Dissector and the Deathcore mayhem by When Stories End. The musical chapters are arranged in a way where you don’t get bored by the same style of music. The inclusion of bands like C.H.U.D tends to express the diversity of the bands present out there in Canada. Another fine feature of the compilation is the varied addition of Bangladeshi musicetal bands- there are Homicide (Technical death), Sacrilege (Thrash), Green Army (Thrash), GrimoriumVerum (Melo-death) beside the previously mentioned Jahiliyyah and Sacrilege. Besides that some international bands like Cap De Craniu (Romania) ,Caelestics (Italy, also the only non-metal band in the compilation ) have taken the compilation to a new level.The compilation soothes the taste for all types of extreme metal fans. Not much focus on the music as I have mentioned some of the top notch bands in the roster. You can get almost all the music you’d probably want to hear from different genres. The rest is on what type of music you prefer! One negative point you might find if you are too cliché is that the compilation is too long , not that I mind (Frankly I can’t get enough). But the effort is really brilliant and is an honest endeavor to represent the international metal scene. A physical release would have been more supportive, however, judging from the local scenario it’s absolutely alright to be out on the web. It’s the delegation of the grand collaboration between Nepal , Bangladesh , Sweden , Italy , Brazil , Romania , Philippines , Indonesia , Colombia and many more countries .If you are looking for some tasteful metal bands(and a progressive rock band), this place is a fucking haven.
