What was the inspiration for the album name, You Authority?

~We believe music serves a bigger purpose than the just entertainment which is stereo typically conceived by most. We intend to speak on issues that need awareness with the medium being music as a form of expression and do our part urging people to stand up against what we face in the system as whole, hoping for the betterment of the society and not stay silent, how we usually would.

You Authority - can simple be phrased, as 'power to the people' or rather or 'we the people can bring about a change' and lead the nation, from the darkness that surrounds.

Has the band’s sound evolved on this release?

~Since the inception of the band, we have tried many musical styles - too many to name presently and that's why our genre was always referred to be lyrical ie 'Protest Poetry'

The album, spans from old school hip hop to new age guitar riffs / from rock ballads to electronic approach.

And yes, for the first time - we have tried to experiment on language -  from being an all out 'English rock Rap' band to take out 4 songs which more or less / completely in Hindi. The album has, four songs in English and 4 songs in Hindi, 8 in total.

What are your expectations for the Album?

Most of the songs, that we have in the album have been tried and tested at more than 300 college gigs / concerts / competition (Hornbill for that matter) for three years now and we, were amazed by the response already. Only the album was due on our part to give it to our audience. We have high expectations of course, any band would and henceforth we're looking forward to it with googly eyes and an excited heart.
