Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker named the best rock skins-man

Following a massive poll by Rhythm Magazine, Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker was named the best rock skins-man in the world right now.

Barker triumphed over Foo Fighters' Taylor Hawkins at No. 2 and John Fred Young of Black Stone Cherry at No. 3. 

"Punk-pop icon and hip-hop tinkerer Travis has proved his popularity once again," the article reads.

"Blink-182 put in a great performance at Reading/Leeds festivals this year, and are working on a new album for 2015 - which should make Travis a shoe-in for top-spot next year too."

The rest of the list features the likes of Matt Cameron, Stix Zadinia of Steel Panther, Slash's drummer Brent Fitz and more.
