This will be the 7th Edition of the Hornbill International
Rock Contest and more guidelines for the interested bands are updated below.
PRIZES- The winners of the Rock Competition will take home
INR 10,00,000, the runners up INR 5,00,000 and the second runners up INR
3,00,000. Winners of individual prizes will pocket INR 30,000.
FEATURING- There will be two rock legends whose momentous
works have yet to be experienced live in this side of the Atlantic: British
greats Smokie and American guitar god Vinnie Moore.
REQUIREMENTS
Bands with “songs/music that have themes glorifying
Satanism, anti-religion, and/or have antisocial contents would be rejected.
National and international bands are to submit audio/visual
materials along with the registration forms (two demos-- one in WAV or MP3
format, and the other, a YouTube link demonstrating live performance)
National/international bands are also required to submit
band profile, band logo, and band photograph (in JPEG).
“Quality of sound will not be judged but the audio must be
clear enough for one to identify or differentiate instruments, vocals, and
general make-up of the music
