It’s time to put the spotlight onto some real talent that
generally goes unnoticed in today’s society.
With the rise of more generic bands around the country and the
scene ‘A Scarlet Dress’ went as one of the scene’s hidden gems again. The
quietest prog-metal solo artist around, A Scarlet Dress is on man project that
explores ambience in metal genre. Sushant Vohra the man behind A Scarlet Dress
started the project way back in 2012. He is deeply inspired from a number
metalcore outfits like Miss May I, Texas in July, August Burns Red and Chealse
Grin.
He has earlier released his debut single titled ‘Lucid’
featuring featuring a guest artist from France which is mind blowing. Check the

An EP is expected during early the 2015 or if earlier then
late 2014. The due EP will include some guest artist and he says “people who
are fans of ambient/djent/metalcore or a mix of them must surely wait for the
EP.” INDEED!
He derives inspiration from bands like Volumes, Northlane,
Entities, etc. “I was very very immature and my production skills were crap, but
I learnt everything on my own”
