REVIEW: SHIVA'S DESTRUCTION-TREACHERY

Year - 2014 ,
Label - JT's Basement .
Genre - Heavy Metal .

The band Shiva's Destruction based from Granite Falls , North Carolina formed in 2012 released their first EP titled Treachery . Influenced by bands like Lamb Of God , Parkway Drive , Tool , Slipknot and the liked they truly give all OLD SCHOOL METAL HEADS a good time to headbang to any thing but this . Started by the guitarist Mikey French , This Ep is a Old school headball like they describe themselves as straightup heavy metal players .

Starting with the intro named 'POW'  the word describes the thing which is a straight punch to all disbelievers. The vocalist has used his somewhat rapping thingy to introduce themselves to  the universe , the slow start of guitar riffs and drums will truly make you think this band plays a slow music well to contradict i would say rather wait and listen to other songs on the list . Leading to the second song 'PHANTASMAGORIA'  starts with powerful riff defining melody and fucking jab at your face with awesome vocals at start reaching at the different level of melodocity when vocal engages the change in style from dirty growls to cleaning cleans  , at the midpoint breakdown eats all the stage to bring the end to the song . The song 'OCEANS'  is a typical melodic metal song with everything sounding perfect from vocals to melodic riffs with a brutal breakdown to give it a perfect song tag in the whole Ep . 'CONCRETE SHOES'  is a song which can be said truly that name says it all starts with a soothing strumming leading to the heaviness the song goes from melodic creation to the brutal knock to make you bleed with brutalness with a tinch of melodicness . 'UNSPOKEN TRUTH'  starts with a not at all good kinda attitude which continues to the end song which reminds me Pantera's good ol days , everything from vocals to guitars to bass to drums sounds a perfect killer kill you themed . 'TREACHERY' is the perfect way to end the whole EP sounds heavy , old school brutal with awesome riffs one after the other everything kills every reason why not to buy their EP , the song has good mixture of brutalness with heaviness which can be given a tag of best song to listen from the ep it goes from good to better to best towards the end , if you are a listening to this song you wont get fucking bored .

The band is a upcoming band with good sound surely has a new sound in the old way to give listeners a good ride . Surely check out the punching Ep .
