The opening track 'Refuge' sounds great with its beautiful intro and guitars. They have a great rhythm and lead thing going which gives the track a great sound. Something very few bands manage to do these guys definitely know their guitars. The title track 'Canvas Of Silence' is probably the most distinguishable of all the tracks with its sweep picking arpeggios and slapping guitars. The third track 'Veil' sort of has this weird and eerie sound to it and kind of takes you away on a journey. My personal favorite was the final track 'Fragments' which opens with muted guitars and great rhythm in the background. A soft song throughout and not as heavy as the other tracks, the guitars that kick in at right around 5:35 are hypnotizing and therapeutic in a way. Again a great example of their excellent composing skills. The entire album clocks in at around 30 minutes.
The music on this album sounds like nothing I have heard from an Indian band before and is definitely one album of 2014 that you DO not want to miss. I can't wait for them to release a full length album and have huge expectations for the future of this band. They are definitely going places.
